 A weekend in the English countryside turns combative as an American professor and a British doctor clash over idealism, pragmatism, and the Iraq War.
A thought-provoking exploration of how the political can sometimes intersect, collide with and ultimately dismantle the personal. The play centers on a debate between an American Yale professor and former war correspondent, Nadia, and her boyfriend's father, a British doctor, during a weekend in the English countryside, exploring the clash between American idealism and British pragmatism, particularly concerning the Iraq War.
