This heartfelt musical comedy follows a group of six quirky “tweens” who compete for the spelling championship of a lifetime. The kids spell their way through a series of ever more difficult words, sharing hilarious and heartfelt stories along the way and hoping never to hear the soul-crushing “ding” of the bell that signals a spelling mistake.
This Tony Award-winning musical is fast, funny, and surprisingly touching. Six hopefuls compete for the spelling crown, only one will be champion — but everyone gets a juice box.
