Much like the famous “Ode to Joy,” Ralph Vaughan Williams’s Dona nobis pacem rallies the emotional power of choir and orchestra together to convey the depth of our humanity, drawing from biblical texts and the poetry of Walt Whitman. The Pomona College Choir (Donna M. Di Grazia, conductor) and Pomona College Orchestra (Eric Lindholm, conductor) present this moving appeal for peace.
