An all-star salute to a jazz titan.
From the time he started appearing on stages in the mid-1940s until his final performance, at the Hollywood Bowl in 1991, Miles Davis could do anything. He was not only present for every twist and turn jazz made as it rose to prominence following World War II he was usually responsible for them. It is, simply put, impossible to imagine the history of jazz without him. In honor of the 100th anniversary of his birth, an all-star gathering of musicians come together for one night only to celebrate the man and play some of the most mind-expanding and influential music ever composed. More details to come.
