Miguel Perez* was born in San Jose, California As the son of a middleweight boxing, lounge singing, big dreaming father and a music loving, green thumbed, black belt Catholic mother, he enjoyed a childhood filled with colorful people, unforgettable melodies, Catholic dogma and practical lessons in self defense. He can trace his love of acting to a Friday evening in October of 1970 when he accompanied Mrs. Walters, his 7th grade English teacher, to a performance of Man of La Mancha at the San Jose Civic Light Opera. Perhaps the teacher saw something in Miguel that no one else did because, by the time Cervantes had transformed himself on stage into Don Quixote, the 7th grader was hooked. All of his focus turned to becoming a working actor. A four year detour in the US Marine Corps left him confident enough to move to New York City and follow his dream. In the years since arriving in the Big Apple, Miguel has worked in films with the likes of Johnny Depp, Clint Eastwood, Steven Spielberg, Harrison Ford, Hilary Swank and many others. On television he has appeared on many hit shows including, ER, Seinfeld, The Good Wife, NCIS-LA and CSI to name a few. Onstage Miguel has worked with many Theatre luminaries including, Mark Rylance, Margaret Whitton, George Wolfe, Sir Patrick Stewart, Kevin Kline and many, many more. Website MiguelPerezActor.com
Larvell Hood best describes himself as a ‘Wallflower turned Showstopper”. He always loved to act and perform ever since he was a kid playing “movies” with his MY BUDDY doll. He has known Max Williams for many years and has worked with him on multiple projects. Larvell is known for his roles in LETHAL WEAPON (FOX), THE UPSHAWS (NETFLIX), INSECURE (HBO), BUST DOWN (PEACOCK), TYLER PERRY’S RUTHLESS (PARAMOUNT +), and most recently, CRIME 101. Larvell is grateful for this opportunity to play with Max and several Elephant Theatre Company Members again. Anita Lee is a seasoned Los Angeles producer, publicist, performer and director with decades of experience. Fool For Love represents a significant return to her directorial roots, an artistic foundation developed while studying under Howard Orms, William Hickey and David Fofi. Previously, she served as Assistant Director for the originating production of The Sandstorm: Stories from the Front and at Springfield Little Theatre. She co-produced the indie film Phil Cobb’s Dinner for Four along with highly acclaimed theatrical productions of Desert Sunrise, Anything, Baby Doll and various works at the Elephant Theatre Company. In her capacity as a publicist, Anita has helped manage campaigns for scores of productions and been honored to work with industry legends such as Carol Burnett, Ed Asner, Bud Cort, Angela Bassett, John Fleck and the USVAA. Her return to the director’s chair brings her career full circle, blending her deep production expertise with her original passion for performance.
