Elliot Menard is an opera-maker: a vocal performer, composer, and producer working at the nexus of opera-theater, new music, and experimental performance. This night at The Muck will be the world premiere of SULPICIA SONGS—a multimedia song cycle for solo voice and electronics, setting the six poems of Sulpicia (the only extant ancient Roman female poet). Blending elements of song cycle, one-woman show, opera, experimental pop, concert-theater, and performance art, SULPICIA SONGS pushes genre and form.
