Caryl Churchill is one of the world’s most critically acclaimed and commercially successful playwrights, the author of dozens of plays for stage, radio and television in a career that spans nearly seven decades. Among her best-known works are Top Girls, Cloud 9, Love and Information, Serious Money, and Far Away. The London native and Oxford graduate was inducted into the American Theatre Hall of Fame in 2010.
James Paradise directs A Number.. His other stage directing credits include What Opa Did, Closer, The Last Romance, Love in the DMZ- A Play in Letters, The Dreamer Examines His Pillow, Rank and File, Rank and File, and more. Also an actor, James has appeared Off Broadway and on Los Angeles stages , as well as in film, television and commercials.
Damien Midkiff portrays the sons of Salter. He has performed on stages in New York, Los Angeles, and New Orleans, and has appeared in numerous television shows and films. He received three Storer Boone Nominations for his stage work in New Orleans and has also received a Garland Award Honorable Mention for his portrayal of Billy in Sharon and Billy at the Open Fist Theatre in Los Angeles.
Michael Muniz Vodde plays Salter. He has performed and directed on professional stages from Anchorage, AK to Key West, FL including National Tours of Les Miserables and The Music Man and at regional theatres like New Mexico Repertory, Arizona Theatre Company, A Noise Within, Sierra Repertory, Drury Lane, Lincolnshire Marriott, San Diego Starlight and the St. Louis MUNY. He received the LA Drama Critics Circle Award and the Bay Area Critics Circle Award for his performance in Kurt Weill’s Berlin to Broadway, which he did in Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
