The Diderot String Quartet will make their Athenaeum debut with a journey to 18th century Vienna, featuring masterpieces by Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven. One of the premiere ensembles performing on gut strings and historical instruments, this dynamic group (Adriane Post, violin Johanna Novom, violin Kyle Miller, viola Paul Dwyer, cello) breathes new life into old works.

Amid the U.K. and Europe leg of her completely sold-out tour, Ethel Cain has added a 2026 North American leg to her Willoughby Tucker Forever run. The new shows include two hometown appearances at The Moon in Tallahassee, dates across the Midwest and Southeast, and west coast stops at Coachella and at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park in San Diego.

Violinist extraordinaire Amandine Beyer and her ensemble Gli Incogniti—hailed across Europe and Asia—have been rarer guests in the United States. Their program explores the “bewitching and endlessly inventive” (Gramophone) music of Nicola Matteis, as well as works by Henry Purcell.
